Six and a half years have past since 629 Smuggler was literally sold two weeks after receiving our Certificate of Occupancy from the city of Aspen, and although I did my best to capture the home for the 1 Friday portfolio, some items just never made it to the archives. I was incredibly excited to work with Shane Real Estate this past summer for both their benefit and mine in capturing the home in it finished entirety – a lot has happened professionally for me in the six years following the home’s sale from my original clients, but it was wonderful to experience the spaces again and mentally go through the hundreds of hours in meetings, approvals, and drawing efforts reflected in every material finish and detail of the home, down to the switch and outlet locations . I left this project with an improved set of images and the reminded knowledge the home was executed well and thoughtfully designed; I’m proud to say this one is a 1 Friday project.
