I always consider it a wonderful compliment when you’re requested by the featuree to be assigned the imaging.  Thanks to Michael Miracle of Aspen Sojourner and Aspen architect Charles Cunniffe, that was the case for the 2012-2013 Holiday Home Issue. The issue features Charles Cunniffe’s personal family residence, an extraordinarily crafted and detailed home situated elegantly upon Aspen’s famed Red Mountain that was a dream of his twenty five years in the making.  Not unlike the home, the article became a tricky one to realize, as we actually received our first true season’s snow (four inches to be exact) the day before we went to print with the feature, which lifted us to the analogy of hitting a home run vs. a ground rule double.  Due to the wonderful assistance and cooperation of the Cunniffe family and the simply outstanding marketing director for CCA named Rebecca Richardson, we made it through seamlessly. Thank you all so much!
