I’ve been back in Minnesota for the past three weeks of my life working on a collection of architectural projects and a very compelling photographic assignment detailing Minnesota’s North Shore, and I’ve come to the conclusion somewhere between the serene glassy calm of a Northland morning lake or the horizon line of Superior seeming to stretch on forever that I can’t remove myself from this area, and I’m no longer running away trying to.  It’s a wonderful thing when you have the ability to return on back to a place that now feels like long lost friend reconnected – I’m intoxicated by the air, inspired by the calm, grateful for each day I’m being given up here…
