Perhaps it was all of my recent weeks spent in the North woods, or perhaps I was taken back to my college days at North Dakota State where everything was a little slower, a little less crazed, but the zen I found in the watered horizons of Minnesota I’m now experiencing in Dakota’s windswept open plains of wheat and corn…”Ain’t that America for you and me”…keeps echoing through my head… Just as Lou Reed nailed the New York streets within his chords, John Mellencamp’s, “Little Pink Houses” screams of this heartland. A Bismarck wedding followed by a trip to Jenn’s Strasburg family farm was the  itinerary, complete with some barbeque and bingo to round it all out…I couldn’t seem to put my cameras down.
